Is there something wrong with me at the moment?

The reason I'm asking this is because of halloween.

And the reason it's because of halloween is this:

Ever since I was younger, I wanted to go trick-o-treating with my friends, but my dad wouldn't let me. At first it was because I'm too young, and last year when I'm old enough my dad still said no because I'm a christian and it's a very unchristian thing to do. Now, I have a costume and everything so I can go, but I doubt I will because now thanks to me never being able to celebrate halloween, I just lost interest in the event.
